Announcement

There are some names associated with bad movies that we’ve come across. Such luminaries as Albert Pyun (Cyborg, Vicious Lips, Captain America), Stewart Raffill (Mac and Me, Mannequin 2) and of course Neil Breen (MENSA) have graced our screens and enriched our lives. There is one name that we haven’t seen yet, and that is Italian director Joe D’Amato (born Aristide Massaccesi), who directed nearly two hundred films, with titles like PORNO HOLOCAUST and EROTIC NIGHTS OF THE LIVING DEAD. More relevant to tonight, he also made some SFW movies, and owned a production company called Filmirage, for which he directed films like 2020 TEXAS GLADIATORS (these titles are incredible, I mean, come on) and produced films like…TROLL 2. I could write about this guy all day. Which brings us to tonight’s movie. He directed a series of Conan the Barbarian ripoffs beginning with ATOR: THE FIGHTING EAGLE and concluding with tonight’s feature presentation, Ator III: The Hobgoblin AKA Quest for the Mighty Sword AKA Troll 3. It has as little to do with TROLL 2 as TROLL 2 had to do with the original TROLL, but it does reuse the original goblin costume from it! It’s about a sword and a princess and some other bullshit, and looks to be pretty insane. It’s also streaming on Prime, so it won’t cost anything extra for you to watch other than your time and sanity. NOTE: While I spent some time researching this movie, I wasn’t able to verify if it has any questionable scenes or not (I try and make sure of this every week if possible), so please bear that in mind!
