Ben Affleck has made some bad movies. Remember, this is the guy who starred in Phantoms and Reindeer Games. He just never seems to choose the right role (except as a director, which he is shockingly not bad at). However, one role has haunted him, a role he disliked so much it drove him to try again as Batman in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice (there is no : in that title, for the record) which ended up actually being worse than tonight's movie. "During an interview with The New York Times for their TimesTalks series Monday, Affleck spoke about his disdain for the film, revealing that its failure was what inspired him to take on the role of Batman. “That’s the movie I want to do. I want to be a part of that,” he said of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “Part of it was I wanted for once to get one of these movies and do it right — to do a good version. I hate Daredevil so much.”" That's right, tonight is the night of Bennifer. We watch Daredevil (2003) at 6:30pm-- it's available to rent from Amazon, YouTube, Apple, etc-- make sure you do not rent the director's cut, which is supposedly better. No, we're here for the Shitty MCU.
