Death Bed: The Bed That Eats (1977)
Announcement
Tonight is a special night. It’s been a rough week for a few of us, so I’ve got a special DOUBLE FEATURE planned! Don’t worry, both movies are short, so it’s like a combined 2 hour run time. We will be experiencing two of the most terrifying things in cinema: Beds and out of work actors. Our films tonight are DEATH BED: THE BED THAT EATS (1977) which… I mean, you can guess. And a special treat, 1934's MANIAC, which was made before the Hayes Code and is full on Looney Tunes. Death Bed is $3.99 on Amazon, Maniac is free on the Internet archive (https://archive.org/details/Maniac), where you can either stream it or download it-- there are multiple copies of it up there but that link goes to the one with the best picture quality. See you at 6:30!
Description
At the edge of a grand estate, near a crumbling old mansion lies a strange stone building with just a single room. In the room there lies a bed. Born of demonic power, the bed seeks the flesh, blood and life essence of unwary travelers… Three pretty girls arrive on vacation, searching for a place to spend the night. Instead, they tumble into nightmares – and the cruel, insatiable hunger of the Bed!
