Hey, did you see the new D&D movie? It’s pretty great! It’s well written, acted and made. Too bad we’re not watching it tonight! No, instead we’re going to watch the critical fail of a first attempt to translate the IP, 2000's DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Starring some pretty good to great actors, this was made by a first time director who went through hell getting it made, only to demonstrate why first time directors usually don’t start with big fx heavy fantasy movies. It currently sits at 9% on Rotten Tomatoes (ouch) and is notorious for Jeremy Irons chewing the scenery and Marlon Wayans ummm… seemingly being inspired by Steppin Fetchit (apologies in advance for that). Description
