I think the main question the Toy Story movies left us was, if toys could come to life at night, what about Captain Crunch or Charlie Tuna? It’s a good thing that the producer of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation pulled at this thread, because it gave us a much needed glimpse into what happens in the supermarket at night when the lights go down. It’s not often you see an animated children’s film criticized for its sexual innuendos and Nazi imagery, let alone using advertising mascots as main characters. Oh, and Charlie Sheen is in it! Tonight we watch FOODFIGHT! from 2012. It’s not on Amazon, but is available to rent on Apple TV, YouTube and Google Play. Note that the poster uses mascots like co-stars?! See you at 6:30!
