Jingle All The Way (1996)
Announcement
Legends rarely end their career on a high note. John Candy's last film was Wagons East!, Michael Moore's attempt at making a big budget Hollywood comedy (it's terrible). Bernie Mac's last movie was Old Dogs. Phil Hartman's career ended on what should have been a slam dunk, a big budget Christmas comedy starring one of the most bankable actors of the day, Arnold Schwarzenegger, but, well, I don't know my basketball metaphors very well, but if it was a soccer metaphor it would be kicking the ball into the ref's crotch. That movie is tonight's punishment for your unspecified crimes in a past life, 1996's JINGLE ALL THE WAY, which was from the director of Snow Dogs (ooh, we should do that some time, it's exactly the point where Cuba Gooding, Jr's career went from Oscar winner to...um...the guy in movies like Snow Dogs). It's streaming on Disney+ and is available for rent everywhere else. Sorry for not having a downloadable version for you tonight, the internet here is stupider than this movie. See ya at 6:30!
