I’m not gonna lie-- Teressa and I both loved Governor Gabbi. I mean, it was terrible in a way few other movies have managed to achieve, but it was the right kind of terrible, if you know what I mean. Turns out, Gabrielle Niebauer, who both wrote the movie and starred as Gabbi also wrote and starred in a 2019 movie called KARATE DO, which was also directed by James Niebauer, who I think might be her brother?) and that’s all I needed to know (when I mentioned it to Teressa as being available to watch she gasped). It’s available for rent on Amazon! If it’s even half as good as Governor Gabbi, it’ll be a win for all of us.
