Kraven The Hunter (1987)
Announcement
When Sony said they were going to start making Spider-Man movies without Spider-Man, I thought they were nuts. Then came Venom, and I *knew* they were nuts. Then Venom 2, then Morbius and then Madame Web. Now I think they're lunatics and I can't get enough of these terrible, terrible movies that have no right to exist. Tonight we continue that tradition with KRAVEN THE HUNTER, based on the character of the same name who has terrific abs, questionable fashion sense and featured in one of the best storylines in Spider-Man history ("Kraven's Last Hunt" from 1987). Like the protagonists of the other Sony Spider-Man Without Spider-Man movies, Kraven really isn't that interesting on his own, though he's certainly a step up from Morbius and Madame Web, so why does this movie exist? It stars Aaron-Taylor-Johnson's abs (he also played another poorly written Marvel character in Avengers: Age of Ultron and was lame enough that when the character returned in Wandavision they replaced him with the same character from the X-Men movies), Alessandro Nivola (who made his acting debut in Face/Off!) and Russell Crowe, who is either amazing or terrible depending on what movie he is in). We'll find out tonight when we get to see those abs for ourselves! See ya at 6:30!
