Ninja movies, amirite? So hot in the 80s. 21st Century Film Corporation Inc. got as far as filming one called NEW YORK NINJA before going bankrupt (their CEO was Menahem Golan, aka one half of my beloved Cannon Films). The uncut film (sans any audio) was left in a warehouse until 2020, where it was discovered when bad movie reissuer Vinegar Syndrome (who have excellent taste) bought the library of the bankrupt company. Following so far? Vinegar Syndrome, realizing they had gold on their hands, reconstructed the movie (with no script or storyboards) and created a new soundtrack, which involved figuring out what the original dialogue was and then getting appropriate actors to dub it, new voices being provided by 80s b-movie action stars like Cynthia Rothrock, Don “The Dragon” Wilson and John Berryman. It was released in 2021 to great fanfare amongst bad movie aficionados, and today you will get the chance to see for yourselves! Description

After his wife is murdered, a man becomes a ninja to take revenge on her killers across the streets of New York, in this film that was originally abandoned in 1984 until it was discovered and completed by Vinegar Syndrome.
