Night Of The Lepus (1972)
Announcement
From William F. Claxton, who directed a lot of Bonanza and Twilight Zone episodes. Starring Janet Leigh (Psycho, amongst many other things), DeForrest Kelly (McCoy from Star Trek) and Stewart Whitman (basically every movie and TV show made in the 1960s and 1970s). All of the makings of a quality film: A small town. Mysterious deaths. Terror in the dark. If you are at all able, don’t read the description for this one, don’t look at any images-- just rent it and pause it at 0:00. Tonight at 6:30pm, a film I’ve never seen and always wanted to-- **Night of the Lepus**. It’s a $3 rental on Prime, amongst other places.
Description
Rancher Cole Hillman is fed up of rabbits plaguing his fields. Zoologist Roy Bennett conducts an experiment to curb their population, but it gives rise to giant rabbits that terrorise the town.
