Space Mutiny (1988)
Announcement
Alien. Solaris. 2001: A Space Odyssey. Classics, all. You can really raise the stakes and tensions with people trapped in spaceships alone in the dark reaches of the void. It has been used to great effect to create masterful works of art that have stood the test of time. Wouldn’t it be nice to see something like that? Well, too bad, because we will instead be watching the legendarily bad SPACE MUTINY, a South African production from 1988 starring John Philip Law (who was in some spaghetti westerns) and nobody else you’ve ever heard of. The writers of MST3K loved it (it was featured in a 1997 episode) and revisited it with Rifftrax. That’s good/bad enough for me! It’s for rent (only $0.99!) on Amazon. See you at 6:30!
