Spookies (1986)

Horror

Announcement

It's October! You know what that mean, it's time for the Spooky Season™️ to begin! Tonight's movie began as a movie called Twisted Souls, which was mostly shot and edited before being shut down by "legal issues". The producer of the movie hired someone else to take that first movie and incorporate the footage into a new movie, which was this time titled SPOOKIES and was released in 1986. Written, directed and starring absolutely nobody (they don't even have wikipedia pages barring one actress who is "best known for her appearance in several controversial, sexually-explicit feature films in the mid to late 1970s" and cinematographer Ken Kelsch, who shot the original Twisted Souls and went on to filming Harvey Keitel's penis (among other things) as Abel Ferrara's cinematographer. So get your popcorn ready and leave your logic at the door-- tonight is time for SPOOKIES.
