I was thinking about the 1985 movie Runaway Train this week. No, we're not going to watch it, as it is an absolutely phenomenal movie. There are so many odd things about it, like how it was based on a screenplay by Akira Kurosawa, was produced by Cannon Films(?), was directed by the guy who directed Tango and Cash(?!), received two Oscar nominations (??!) and starred Jon Voight and Eric Roberts who were nominated for Best and Best Supporting Actor respectively(???!!!). Roberts in particular was exceptional in it, and I watched it before seeing him in other movies. Discovering his later films came as quite a shock. Careers are weird. I mean, how did Voight and Roberts go from Oscar nominations to Baby Geniuses and A Talking Cat?!? It boggles the mind. Voight was obviously in Midnight Cowboy and won an Oscar for Coming Home, but Roberts was also in Star 80. Did these guys both lose their minds? Anyhoo, enough rambling. This week's movie stars Eric Roberts and is called STALKED BY MY DOCTOR (2015). It's one of the most notorious Lifetime movies of all time, one that begat three sequels! See ya tonight at 6:30!

Description

When a teenage girl is miraculously saved by a heart surgeon, the doctor begins to flirt with her. Her father doesn’t believe her and unbeknownst to all, the doctor is obsessed with the girl.
