Terrorvision (1986)
Announcement
What's scarier than watching garbage on our tvs? Watching a movie about garbage coming THROUGH our tvs, of course! October's uhhhhhh scary(?) selections continue with a movie called TERRORVISION from 1986. Produced by Albert and Charles Band, who would later go on to found Full Moon Pictures, makers of such classics as Puppetmaster, Demonic Toys and a movie that we've already seen, Arcade (remember that one? Ralphie from a Christmas Story and Seth Green team up to fight a video game?). You know this movie is good, because it has 10x the rating that Alone in the Dark has on Rotten Tomatoes (it sits at a comforting 10%). Terrorvision was made back to back with the original Troll and stars Gerrit Graham and Mary Woronov, who we've seen in Chopping Mall, Diane Franklin who played the French exchange student in Better Off Dead and Jon Gries, who was Uncle Rico in Napolean Dynamite but more importantly the Wolf Man in the Monster Squad! See ya at 6:30! Also, I hope you can make it next week, where we will celebrate Halloween by watching the worst film ever made in Canada (and no, that's not hyperbole).
Description
Stanley Putterman installs a state-of-the-art satellite dish in his backyard, soon unleashing a strange monster that leaps off the screen and needs to feed on humans for survival.
