Did you know there was a Fantastic Four movie made in 1994? And that it was produced by Roger Corman?? According to imdb “In the mid 1980s German film producers Constantin Film bought a ten year option the rights from Marvel Comics for an initial $250,000. Just before the ten year option ran out, and in order to meet the terms of the contract so they would have first refusal to renew them, Constantin hurriedly had put this film into production. Marvel were not impressed at the low budget results and in order to avoid damaging the brand they quietly bought the few film prints and negative from Constantin Film to avoid the possibility of it getting any kind of theatrical or video release.” But someone pirated a copy before the movie was buried, and we will be watching it this Friday! Starring the guy who played the android Chip in the 80s TV show Not Quite Human and nobody else that I have heard of! Best/worst of all, neither Roger Corman, the cast or the crew was aware that this movie was not going to be released. It’s also the subject of 2015's Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s the Fantastic Four, which I will probably watch once I’ve seen this. This Friday at 6:30! Description

When dosed with cosmic rays, four intrepid astronauts are given incredible powers. They decide to form a superhero group called the Fantastic Four to fight their arch-enemy, Dr. Doom.
