Timecop (1994)
Announcement
You know, we need more JCVD in our lives. While I thought it would be funny to watch Double Impact, where he plays twins (so we would get an extra dose) I think we deserve at least a semblance of a plot, so tonight’s film will be 1994's TIMECOP. He’s, uhhhh a time cop, stopping a murderer or some such nonsense. Directed and shot by Peter Hyams, who once said “O. J. Simpson was in [Capricorn One], and Robert Blake was in Busting (Hyams’ first feature). I’ve said many times: Some people have AFI Lifetime Achievement awards, some people have multiple Oscars, my bit of trivia is that I’ve made films with two leading men who were subsequently tried for the first-degree murder of their wives.” It was also produced by Sam Raimi and co-stars Sloane Peterson…I mean Mia Sara. It’s $3 to rent on Prime. See you at 6:30!
